Khalsa FC have two teams in the Northamptonshire Combination League. the first team play in the Premier division whilst the Reserves play in the Reserve Premier division of the same league. Khalsa are a progressive forward thinking club who would like to expand in the next few years and incorporate youth football into the club.
The club can offer a variety of benefits to club/team sponsors dependant upon the items sponsored. Both teams in their respective leagues receive some attention from the local press in the form of the Evening Telegraph and the Herald and Post. Again both teams play in the Northamptonshire Football Association Cup competitions and on occasion can feature in wider local media coverage. The club own and maintain this web-site and also www.punjabunited.blogspot.co.uk which besides providing information on the club it can provide information on our relevant sponsors with hyperlinks to all other relevant web-sites. For sponsors that sponsor items associated with the teams e.g. presentation suits (tracksuit), kits etc.. not only do they receive coverage on the Khalsa website, but their logo appears on the item they have sponsored. In the case of the tracksuits, the players are required to wear these to every match they attend both home and away again broadening the advertisement of the sponsor.
For sponsors that have match banners, the sponsors name, address, logo etc., is displayed around the pitch on a 6’ x 2’ banner for each home match associated with the club and/or team. Each team could play between 26 and 31 matches at home during one season. The teams that play in the league are from all over Northamptonshire so again this broadens the sponsor’s advertisement.
